The Department of Social Sciences at the University Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is seeking to support candidates for the 3-year postdoc position in Spanish universities funded by the Ramón Areces Foundation. Candidates with a PhD in Economic History or similar disciplines are welcome.

Terms and conditions: Yearly salary is 40K € (gross) + 5K € in research funds. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Economic History and related disciplines received after January 1sy 2022 are eligible. Date of Ph.D. can be extended to January 1st 2021 in case of special conditions (disability, maternity/paternity, temporary incapacity).
Procedure of Application: Prospective candidates must send their expression of interest to the Department of Social Sciences (socialsciences.department@uc3m.es) no later than May 20th 2024. Successful candidates will be notified within a few days after the deadline. Successful candidates will be supported in their application by the Department, which will provide the Tutor and Research Team at the host institution required by the call - and informally help the candidate with the procedure. The deadline for the final application is June 6th 2024, inclusive of a short research project, describing literature, aims and methods (ca. 1K words).
